Sean Kingston’s rep released this statement: “Sean Kingston is now stabilized and has moved from the trauma unit to ICU. Sean’s family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time.”

Cassandra Sanchez, Sean Kingston’s jet ski passenger, on the accident (via TMZ):
-”We were going so fast we just blasted past [2 other friends on a separate jetski]. When we turned a corner and crashed … they were so far behind us they didn’t even see us crash.”
-She says she screamed when they headed to the Palm Island bridge, “We can’t fit under there! Are we going to try and go under there? Sean stop!”

-She says Sean tried to change direction but crashed because they were going so fast, and that she found herself in the water, in pain, and saw ‘”[Sean] was coughing up blood, foam and pink stuff” … and when he finally opened his eyes, he kept repeating the words, “I’m hurting. I’m hurting”‘
-according to other reports, Sanchez’s life jacket was on but Sean’s came off during the accident, making it difficult for rescuers to keep his head above water

Coast Guard officer Jonathan Rivera describes helping Sean after the accident:
-’Rivera says he wrapped his arms around Kingston and held on to the jet ski to help keep Kingston’s head above water. Rivera said Kingston was “convulsing and throwing up blood all over me” — but said he didn’t notice any head trauma.’
-Rivera held Kingston up for around 15 minutes until the police boat arrived. Sean was conscious and repeated Rivera’s words “I’m going to be okay.”
