Jay-Z to Organize & Headline Two-Day Music Fest in Philly

On Monday (May 14), Jay-Z is set to be announced as the official organizer and headliner of the first annual Budweiser Made in America Music Festival.
 
The festival will be held in Philadelphia on Labor Day Weekend (September 1-2),

The line-up is unknown at press time, but according to a news release from the organizers, Jay-Z plans to include as many as 28 acts from various genres including “rock, hip-hop, R&B, Latin, and dance.” The artists will be announced May 21st.

An unspecified portion of the proceeds made from the festival will benefit local non-profit charities such as the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.

Tickets to the Made in America Music Festival go on sale on May 23rd, and will be available for purchase on ticketmaster.com and livenation.com. They will be $99, starting.
