The-Dream to Commercially Release '1977'

Last year, The-Dream released his free project “1977″ which was extremely well-received (and even still gets lots of replay action from me). Today, he announced that he will be releasing the project commercially on December 18th via Def Jam. The LP will feature 2 bonus cuts ‘AK47′ and ‘Tender Tendencies’. So basically, we have yet another album to purchase that we already have. Why do I feel like these artists are trying to get us for our money? I love 1977 though. Good music will always be good music. But why put a new album on the back burner, that everyone is waiting for might I add, to re-release something we already have. Hopefully he plans on releasing his new album “The Love IV: Diary Of A Madman” in 2013. This all just seems like a waste of the label's money if you ask me.
