EVENT RECAP: Top 5 Reasons You Wish You Went to #Powerhouse 2013

This week, the iSocialte team had the privilege of going to Powerhouse 2013. Rather than bring you guys a normal concert review, we figured we’d give you the best and worst. Enjoy!

Top 5 Reasons You Wish You Went
to Powerhouse 2013:

5. Wale
The MMG artist took to the Philly Stage and kept the Wells Fargo Center rocking performing hits such as Lotus Flower Bomb and Love/Hate Thing.

4. Big Sean & 2 Chainz
Even though they did not perform together, the two GOOD music emcees showed that they could rock a stage. Sean held what seemed to be a light show similar to that of Kanye West while performing club and street hits like A$$ & Mula. Meanwhile, 2 Chainz continued his stripper anthems and of course his dance moves to songs like Youtube and I Luv Dem Strippers.

3. K. Michelle
Though her set seemed pretty much boring, no one can get enough of K. Michelle and that amazing body. Not to mention, her background singers held it down and even got to show off their own solo ability (Which was arguably better than K Michelle herself).

2. Kendrick Lamar
The Compton emcee took to the Philadelphia stage and took us on a trip all the way to the west coast. K Dot performed favorites from his Platinum selling debut, Good Kid, m.A.A.d City, like Money Trees, Backseat Freestyle and even an emotional performance to Sing About Me where the artist actually sheds a few tears.

1. Meek Mill

The self proclaimed “King of Philly” did not disappoint his hometown crowd as he
performed hits like Please Believe It and House Party. But that wasn’t enough. Meek also brought out multiple guest that included Yo Gotti, French Montana, Rick Ross and none other than Nicki Minaj. Hands down Meek Mill brought down the house for his home crowd.
