Diddy To Produce An Animated Series For FX
Diddy must be going through a mid-life crisis or he's just as hungry as the day he stepped foot into the industry. After announcing via Instagram that he's returning to his first love music production, Diddy dives into another form of production. Puff is executive producing an animated series titled Brightmoor for the FX network that is being pushed as the urban version of the Comedy Central mainstay, South Park, reports Deadline.
Created and written by Chip Hall and Detroit comedian Chris Powell, the show will be set in the Motor City and center around the Black students at Brightmoor Elementary School. Hall’s writing credits include King of the Hill and Blue Mountain State. Powell recently made his acting debut on the hit Fox show, Empire. Puff will executive produce the series through his Revolt Films imprint with Sarah Snedeker serving as the show’s producer. If it’s anything like South Park, it’s sure to be entertaining and controversial.
