Event Recap: Kid Ink Brings "The Full Speed Tour" To Philly
This past Sunday (4/19) Kid Ink the producer turned rapper brought his talents to Philly accompanied by Dj Tech of The Alumni Music Group. The concert was originally scheduled to be at the Trocadero Theater, but due to some scheduling conflicts it was moved to Philly's Coda Nightclub. In an interview Kid ink said he wanted that interaction with his fans again and that's exactly what Philly gave him. Despite the last minute mix up Kid's fans still made there way out and filled the venue. As the sixth stop on his Full Speed US Tour Kid Ink held nothing back. It seemed as though him and the crowd were one. Almost every song was a sing-along, Ink's fans knew almost every word as he performed hits like "Show me", "Body Language", "Hotel" and "Be real".
“I am really excited to get out and perform new records off the album as well as the classic Kid Ink records you want to hear,” says Kid Ink. “I spent the last 4 months in and out the studio and missed the connection with my fans and can't wait to turn up with you again.”
Kid Ink Showed his appreciation to his fans by screaming throughout the show "Philly I love yall" or the occasional "I see some true fans in the building yall know that old S**t." Kid also gave some of his female fans in the front a little special attention by ripping his shirt off to show the ladies his tattoos while rapping his lyrics directly into there faces. Some of the young ladies pulled out there phones, others blushed uncontrollably and one girl in the crowd seemed to faint from the attention as Kid ink walked away laughing.
Many of Kid's fans left the show with red faces or wet clothes from sweat. As Kid turned up on stage so did his fans in the crowd. As I stood by the door as the show ended I heard fans talking about how hype the show was and Kid's energy. The fans loved everything he did and left show far from disappointed as some fans said "This was one of the best shows I've ever been to" despite this fan seeming extremely intoxicated I believe if you're a Kid Ink fan you missed this show you truly missed a experience.
